Kowloon Mosque

Kowloon Mosque is the biggest mosque of Hong Kong, opened in 1984 in place of an old mosque that was built in 1896 on the same site. The mosque is situated in the busy tourist-popular area of Tsim Sha Tsui and can accommodate up to 2000 people.

Ammar Mosque

Masjid Ammar was opened in 1981 and is situated in Wan Chai. The mosque has a canteen which, amongst other items, serves halal dim sum, making it amongst the handful of places in Hong Kong that do so. The mosque can accommodate up to 700 people.

Shelly Mosque

Shelley Mosque has the privilege of being the oldest mosque in Hong Kong. Built in 1890 and then again in 1905, it’s historical building has been listed down to be preserved as a heritage. Apart from reminding its visitors of a bygone era, the mosque also happens to be the closest one to the HKU campus.
